Performance artist Eivind Reierstad presents his projects ANE LAN and A-PROJECT:
From ANE LAN, an artist alter ego created as a platform for investigating gender and sexuality in relation to society, history and politics to A-project as an investigation of gender rituals related to the history of occultism, esotericism and religion.
Eivind Reierstad was born in Oslo, Norway in 1972. He graduated from the National College of Art and design in Oslo in 2002 and is working in the field of performance, music and experimental film/video. He has participated in various international exhibitions; The Whitney Museum of American Art, NYC, Paco das Artes, São Paulo, the 51st Venice Biennial and the 10th Istanbul Biennial. Reierstad has also participated in numerous Theater, Performance, Film & Video festivals worldwide. Bit-teatergarasjen in Bergen has been a co-producer of Reierstads performance works for over 10 years.
