This Monday Lecture is presented at Østre, in Østre Skostredet 3 on the 12th of October at 18.00.

Kim Hankyul is a Bergen based artist. Hankyul's work mainly shows the incompleteness of perception by putting the discordance to the fore between visual surroundings and sonic phenomena. In this Monday Lecture Hankyul will discuss his recent work, <The Tempest>, which is on display at Østre's second floor.

In the work <The Tempest>, the soundscape of natural turmoil will be cinematically realized through the sequential reflex of raw material. The overwhelming power of nature will be sonically depicted in continuous variations, by the sound made out of minimal motion of machineries.
