Drawing upon drawing. Lines crossing and lying side by side.
As Narcissus stared into the surface of the pool he created himself a double; a dual self. He fell in love with this reflection and could not pull himself away. Did he become trapped in this loop for eternity, or did he escape into himself?

Hannah’s studio practice is process based. By creating set frameworks (physical, durational, action based) she forms a border, a routine, in which to escape. For the last 7 months she has been drawing whilst listening to only one song, Stoned Again by King Krule.

Her studio is filled with these workings, taped and tacked to the wall, resting on tables and shelves. But how is it to make an exhibition that encompasses the process-based nature of these works? How can an artwork transition from the studio to the gallery without losing anything from the process in the process?

This exhibition will display most of the work she has so far created whilst studying at KMD.
