Seeds of Memory is another group exhibition in which the seven artists, including Maarten Vanden Eynde, use traces of the past to tell stories. They depict memories and histories that may have taken place or have been invented and arrange facts into a new story. The stories unfold in imaginative works in which landscapes, animals, materials and objects are the starting point: from the artificial division of the animal kingdom to an invented city, and from the long history of a noble Frisian estate to traces in the landscape. Location: Fries Museum in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands. Open until 3rd of March 2024. Open until 3rd of March 2024.

Open until 13th of August.

Maarten Vanden Eynde is a part of the Artistic Research project ‘Matter, Gesture, Soul’ (2020-2024) as a PhD candidate at the University of Bergen, Norway.
