The Norwegian Artistic Research Programme (NARP) funds artistic research projects for the creative and performing arts at Norwegian universities and university colleges.

"We look forward to welcoming all our important partners to Bergen - the entire national field of artistic researchers”, says Anne Helen Mydland, Vice Dean of Research at the Faculty of Fine Art, Music and Design (KMD) at the University of Bergen.

"We are especially proud to show all the participants our fantastic building in Møllendalsveien and present the new PhD in artistic research, which after ten years of hard work finally becomes a reality this fall," says Mydland.
A busy programme awaits this year's participants at the conference. From KMD, Professor Einar Røttingen, Associate Professor Jostein Gundersen and Research Fellow Kjetil Møster from the Grieg Academy, present their projects ‘(Un-) settling Sites and Styles’, ‘Wheels Within Wheels’ and ‘The Electrophonic Saxophone’. There will also be performance by Professor Frans Jacobi from the Department of Fine Art. This marks the end of the artistic research project Synsmaskinen, which he has led.
