The Toolkit, written and produced collaboratively, is an experimental document that proposes a methodology to design context-specific seminars by relying on the large amount of existing recorded talks, works, panels and conversations produced globally, that are freely available online. The Toolkit proposes alternative ways of doing and organising alternative communal spaces within the contemporary art world by proposing Anthology Seminars. It was launched at Hordaland Kunstsenter Kitchen on 11.09.2024 by implementing the suggested format.

The Toolkit was collectively composed by the class of 2023-2025 of the MA Programme in Curatorial Practice at the Faculty of Fine Art, Music and Design, University of Bergen (KMD/UiB): Josephine Boesen, Jialing Chen, Scott Elliott, Marny Garcia Mommertz, Maiken Håvarstein, Anna Jakobsson, Monika Kalinauskaitė, Peter Meanwell, Martina Petrelli, Favour Ritaro, Ng’onga Silupya. Sarah Waiswa was part of the initial curatorial group and conversations but was not able to continue on the MA Programme due to the tuition fees for non-EU/EEA students introduced in Norway and at the University of Bergen. The creation of a collective seminar is a required part of the MA Curatorial Practice curriculum.
