Mari Norddahl

Master in Fine Art 2017

Mari Norddahl works with soft objects and movement through performance, sculpture and installation. Her interest lies in shapes and themes that follow an organic aesthetic and have a similarity to the corporal, how we perceive the object in relation to the body, with an emphasis on the object's existence as an autonomous entity. By the use of performing objects, she seeks to understand the thing's perception of the world, if it has its own awareness, or if such a concept merely a projection.
