Visual Communication

Bio

I’m Nahid, a visual designer passionate about storytelling and interaction design. After earning my BA in Architecture in 2018 from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran, I spent five years working as a digital designer in marketing and advertising companies in Iran. My projects span multiple media, from animation to user-centered design. I believe in using my craft to shed light on untold stories, challenge the status quo, and support the underrepresented. My goal is to create work that not only communicates but resonates deeply.

PROJECT

Nudging the Shield of Ignorance

In a world overflowing with information, it’s easy to become overwhelmed, distant, or even numb to the deeper realities of war, displacement, and environmental destruction. Set in a fictional world called My Land, inhabited by symbolic cat characters, this project uses visual storytelling and interaction design to explore complex themes such as environmental damage, war, and corporate complicity. Rather than offering answers or using distressing imagery, it opens new ways of seeing and discussing global issues — encouraging reflection, curiosity, and critical thinking.
