MA Fine Art 2023
Carmilly Yeung (b.1996) is a Hong Kong artist who is currently based in Bergen, Norway. She received her bachelor degree in Visual Arts from the Academy of Visual Arts, Hong Kong Baptist University in 2018. Now she is a student of MA Fine Arts at the Faculty of Fine Art, Music and Design (KMD) in the University of Bergen.
Carmilly works with sculptures and installations. Her practice is often related to the topic of Hong Kong identity. In the coming exhibition in Bergen Kunsthall, she is going to present a project with collected porcelain figurines that represent different histories and cultures, which explores the complexity and fragileness of identities.
