Karl Bird (b. 1986 Birmingham, UK) is a British-Norwegian artist who works with painting, installation and sculpture. His work is process-driven, allowing a materialistic response to emerge. Bird takes inspiration from the temporality of the urban environment and looks between the imagined borders of nature. For this is personal, Bird is presenting an installation utilising sculpted structures which become the environment for his paintings to inhabit.
