Amund Gravdal

Bio

Amund (b. 1988 NO) I'm mainly working with painting. At the graduation show I will exhibit a series of three paintings. Although the paintings may at first glance appear as traditional landscapes, I see them more as coloristic improvisations, where the landscape is merely a stage to hold up the color combinations. I like to compare my works to music. The colors are my tones, and the color combination my melody. I'm greatly influenced by music in the process of making the works. I'm looking very much forward to finally showing the three pieces that I have been working on for the last year.
