Bio

Joey Bravo (1999, US/ES) is a multimedia artist working with textiles, ceramics, new media, and installation. His work draws heavily from a queer ecological perspective, responding to a lifetime of entanglement with water and investigating the environments humans have built to bring themselves closer to it. He is interested in norms, tensions, safety, discomfort, intimacy, and the color green.
