Bio

Kaja Haven (b. 1989) is a Norwegian emerging conceptual artist working interdisciplinary between sound, video, installations, and performance with an often action-based practice. Through anticipations, faults, misunderstandings, inappropriate behavior, trickery, anti-climax, and the ‘possibility of an object or situation,’ she often pairs local everyday elements such as findings from her home, fridge, street, and grocery store with temperament, ego, revolt, water, sensors, sound, sets, and pyrotechnics. Kaja is currently undergoing a Master in Fine Arts at The Art Academy in Bergen with an exchange semester at he Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm. She have also previously earned an MAA in Architecture at The Royal Danish Art Academy’s School of Architecture in Copenhagen.
