Anna Brüner

Bio

Anna Maria Bruner (b. 2001) is an Icelandic American artist living in Bergen, Norway. She attained a BFA in Painting and Art History at the University of Southern Maine in Portland, Maine, United States, and an MFA at KMD in Bergen. Anna's work, There Is a Place in Me I May Never Find, explores themes of home and displacement through allegorical scenes of deer, and migratory birds, , rendering interior states visible within theatrical and myth-inflected landscapes.
