Bio

Laika Marie Andersen's (b.1992, DK) practice unfolds through sculptural expressions and is concerned with ideas of absence, the not visible, domesticity and the term femininity. Her Practice is both conceptual and process-based and takes its starting point of the homely and everyday environment. In doing so, her sculptural work investigates the logical versus the absurd, the private versus the public and the visible vs. absence within everyday domestic tasks.
