Bio

I am an Interior Architect and Designer located in Bergen. In 2020, I completed my Bachelor´s degree in Spatial and Furniture Design from KMD. My philosophy is centered around emotionally-driven design, which leads me to create solutions that are inspired by the daily interactions between people, space and objects that surround us.

I aim to develop unique spaces and products that showcase strong identities and come to life with careful attention and purpose. My work is characterized by a passion for details and exploring new forms.

PROJECT TITLE

‘Livet Mellom Byggene’

Where space becomes a place - Enhancing urban life by activating public spaces, creating a vibrant city floor.

Cities are home to almost half of the world's population and their design has become increasingly important in recent decades. The function of cities has evolved which have resulted in fewer people spending time in public space. What combinations of experiences and amenities are needed? What makes a public space a destination for both visitors and locals? 

This project focuses on promoting social interaction through local amenities and activities, with a particular focus on transforming Øvre Korskirkeallmenningen in Bergen to activate interest in public spaces. It aims to initiate reflection and conversation around the functionality of streets and how they can be designed to promote lively city floors in the future.
