Bio

Rita María Muñoz Farías is a performance artist and choreographer. The body is a central part of all of Muñoz’s works, and through the body themes like identity, grief and mental health are explored and performed. Recently, the use of texts in videos and in books have played an important role, which have been used to explore the very same themes. The projects shown at I could only see the back of it are an exploration of the fragility of remembering and forgetting, generational stories, language, words, and sounds using the body and different organic materials.
