Sissel Johansen arbeider med tegning og maleri. I sitt kunstnerskap utforsker hun egne emosjoner og underbevissthet, og spør: Hvordan tar psyken plass kroppen? Hva er bevissthet? For «I could only see the back of it» vil hun vise en serie malerier/tekstiler i stort format laget med tekstilfarger. Sissel Johansen works with drawing and painting. She explores her own emotions and subconsciousness in her work and asks: How does the psyche take space in the body? What is consciousness? For “I could only see the back of it” she will show a series of large-scale paintings/textiles made with textile dyes.
