PROJECT TITLE

HOLDBART: et forslag til design av levedyktige møbler

Today, we as consumers thrown away far too much furniture—most of it ends up in residual waste and is burned up. What can we as designers do to prevent this? This master’s project is a study of how to reduce furniture waste through design. The project’s aim is to discuss and explore different design solutions that can extend the life of furniture, contribute to more responsible disposal and recycling of furniture, and create emo-tional bonds between product and consumer. Additionally, the project seeks to deepen our understanding of how we treat and care for our furniture.
