PROJECT TITLE

LYSKJÆR

The master project is based on Julie’s early years in Tromsø and the experiences of arctic light in north of Norway. Her fascination with the various light phenomena has formed the basis for her interest and curiosity for this project. LYSKJÆR aims to enhance the experience of the arctic light—where the contrast between summer and winter is as big as the contrast between day and night. Julie saw a potential in a hidden gem based on its location, nature, landscape and surroundings. The purpose of the project is to raise awareness, highlight, enhance and guide visitors to experience the unique arctic light throughout the day and time of year.
