Alessia Stenzel (b.1997, Germany) is a multidisciplinary designer from Germany. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Germany before moving to Norway for her Master's in Visual Communication at KMD, to further explore design in an international context. Alessia has a strong passion for editorial design and typography. Her journey took her to Studio Renate Boere in The Hague, the Netherlands, where her love for editorial design flourished further. Alessia's diverse skill set reflects her insatiable curiosity and passion to explore different disciplines. She deeply enjoys engaging in discursive design and practical research, captivated by how design intersects with other disciplines. Alessia sees this blend as an opportunity to translate complex information from different fields into visually captivating design, ensuring accessibility and engagement for a wide audience.

The Language of Home

 

What does ‘home’ mean to you? This simple yet profound question is at the heart of this Master’s thesis, which explores the multi-faceted nature of ‘home’ and its significance in our lives. This project aspires to encourage people to rethink their perspectives and promote a broader discussion about the multifaceted nature of ‘home.’ The ultimate aim of the project is to actively shape the discourse on the concept of ‘home’ by fostering inclusivity and empowering individuals and communities to express their unique experiences and perspectives.
