Huiwen Zang (b.1997, China) is a designer experienced in multimedia, graphic design and product ideation. She explores different design approaches, embraces new experiences and cultivates mindfulness. Besides solving design problems, Huiwen uses design tools to communicate perspectives. Inspired by everyday experiences and cultural theories, she aims to create design experiences that inspire meaningful dialogue.

PROJECT TITLE

Sensing the Non-Sensible Time

How would you describe time without using clock numbers? We typically measure time with calendars and clocks, reinforcing a linear view of time essential for the functioning of industrial societies. However, our inner perception of time is often spontaneous and filled with profound emotions and meanings. This project questions the conventional notion of time and its negative effects on our well-being. It explores how design can contribute to a more inclusive and diverse understanding of time.
