Bio

A typography nerd, illustrator, photographer and interdisciplinary designer who believes in a playful approach to communication. I have the most fun blurring the lines that tell art from design, always curious to explore intersections between verbal and visual languages. I like working with projects firmly rooted in concepts. I love designing inside the cracks that open by dissecting ideas and shaking their grounds. More than working with a goal in mind, I highly value those learning opportunities that can only be found in the process, especially when this involves team effort and co-creativity.

PROJECT TITLE

‘Free Buffet’

Challenging the myth of the artist and the stigma of play in adult life in order to unlock access to designing collective futures.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

This work is to be seen as a double invitation. Like in most cultures, sharing a meal means as well entering a sociable moment, almost necessarily tied to conversation. In this case, what’s served on the plate is a topic for discussion: what is the role of free play and creativity in today’s society? And to what extent can these be acknowledged as valid tools in designing the future of a community? Because this is a semi-serious work grounded in curiosity, both as a starting point and as an end goal, you are welcome to take a seat and show what you can bring to the table.
