Bio

Designing visual narratives that engage and inspire is at the core of my design work. Through visual communication, storytelling and illustration I explore how aesthetics and functionality can positively impact people's lives.

I hold my Bachelor’s degree in Design from KMD, have completed a one-year program in web design at NTNU, and during my Master’s I attended one semester of study exchange at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest, Hungary. My aim is to create culturally relevant and impactful designs with a focus on shaping the future.

PROJECT TITLE

‘Kanten mot havet’

This is an exploration of how design can be used to transform ancient artifacts into functional and meaningful objects for the present and future.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Edge Towards the Sea examines the contemporary relevance and significance of cultural heritage, while also seeking to revitalize and reimagine their functionality. Focusing on cultural monuments from the Viking Age in Rogaland, this project explores their potential for use in the present and future. Using personal interpretation and form study, the project looks into grief conveyed through bauta stones and how this can be expressed visually.
