Monday Lecture (on a Tuesday)

The danes, poet Claus Handberg Christensen and visual artist Frans Jacobi, has been working on a film about Denmark, since 2008. SOM DET ER HER I LANDET.

The film documents an ongoing tour covering all corners of Denmark; from low to high, from old to young, center to periphery. The tour includes a string of known and unknown artists, writers and musicians, performing in various places, each contributing aspects of a national culture, at the same time beloved and controversial.

How does a nation look like, underneath the aggressive nationalist populism dominating mainstream politics?
Handberg & Jacobi will show a new edit of the open-ended film-project and discuss what nationality means in an age of global art.

Claus Handberg will also present the art-magazine MONSIEUR ANTI PYRINE, that he has been co-producing since 2014.

The evening will be in English and Danish!
All nationalities are welcome!

In addition Claus Handberg will be available for some individual tutorials Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 15th to 17th.
