«The Settlers – Towards new Territories in Design» investigates plant-human relations, asks what plants can teach us about being in the world, and how this knowledge might be interpreted into strategies and methods for future design practice. Plants are by their very nature restorative makers and fundamental providers of life on earth. Through practical exercises, the research explores whether a new understanding of the plants idiosyncrasies and basic principles might lead towards a transformation and re-definition of creative, productive practices, as well as a new attitude to our role in the great cycle.

The presentation will be held in English and lasts for 30 minutes, with questions and discussion afterwards.
