Wednesday 2 October at 18.00: "Solarpunk Symphony for 4 pianos and citizen voices".
An unusual and unique collaboration has developed at the Grieg Academy in Bergen. These days we have a visit from the American composer and pianist Lola Perrin, in connection with Professor Torleif Torgersen's project on music and climate activism, "Musical Activism"

Perrin has composed the work 'Solarpunk Symphony' which is a composition for 4 pianos. The work has its premiere in Gunnar Sævig's hall at the Grieg Academy, Wednesday 2 October at 6pm.

Torleif Torgersen opens the concert with the work "ICEPRINTS for piano and arctic ocean sub-ice ecoacoustics" by the composer Matthew Burtner from Alaska. The piece is based on data from the ice melting in the Arctic over the past 40 years, and is composed for piano and electronics.

The concert is followed by an open panel debate in which, among other things, several researchers from the Bjerknes Center for Climate Research participate.
