Performer Biography
Blazej Wasiak (b. 2001, Sulechów, Poland) is a clarinetist currently pursuing his Master’s degree at the Grieg Academy in Bergen, in the class of Professor Christian Stene. He also studied at the Academy of Music in Poznań (Poland) with Dr. Jakub Drygas and has also spent a semester at LUCA School of Arts in Leuven (Belgium) under Professor Roeland Hendrikx as part of the Erasmus+ program.

Blazej has performed with several orchestras, including the Norwegian National Youth Orchestra, Bergen Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, Neue Philharmonie München, and the International Lutosławski Youth Orchestra. He also collaborates regularly with the Tadeusz Baird Philharmonic in Zielona Góra. In addition to his performing activities, he has worked as a classical music journalist for Radio Afera and Radio Zgiełk.
