We begin with a public conversation about piano improvisation, followed by a masterclass for piano students.
Participants in the masterclass are asked to bring works from their own repertoire.
The lecture and masterclass will be led by the award-winning pianist Alexander Gadjiev. The moderator is Matthieu Stepec, PhD fellow at the Grieg Academy.
This event is a collaboration between the Research Group in Musicology and GAFFI- The Grieg Academy’s Research Group for Performance and Interpretation (Norwegian webpage).
