The program features a range of guest lecturers from both Norway and abroad, and includes lectures, discussions, and presentations exploring gender, technology, and participation in the field of music.

Program and registration

The forum is relevant for researchers, students, musicians, producers, cultural workers, and anyone interested in equality, technology, and participation in music and the arts.

The event will run from 10:00-16:30 both days, with a special event on Friday evening in collaboration with AKKS Bergen featuring live performances and DJs in the Bergen Kjøtt Bar.

About the project

The forum is part of the project Gender, Technology and Participation, a collaboration between the Grieg Academy (Faculty of Fine Art, Music and Design – KMD) and the Centre for Women's and Gender Research (Faculty of Humanities) at the University of Bergen (UiB).
