“Myopi” is an exhibition by Johanne Thingnes Leira, who is in the last year of her bachelor studies at the Art Academy in Bergen. The exhibition has its origins in experiences she has had from various hospital wards where she has worked as a nurse. The exhibition contains metal sculptures and oil paintings that are based on photos from a mobile camera. She explores the small nuances by lingering with the motive, and thus making the slow process a contrast to the efficiency-oriented focus within the healthcare system.
