Echoes in Hybrid Space is a week-long international academy exploring the meeting point of instrumental performance, live electronics, and electroacoustic composition. We have five places available with application deadline 15th of July.

Echoes in Hybrid Space is a week-long international academy that will take place at the Grieg Academy and Faculty of Fine art, Music and Design 23-28 February 2027.

It will bring together five composition students from the Grieg Academy and five selected international composition students. The program will host Ensemble Proxima Centauri (France), soloists Theofilos Sotiriades (saxophone) and Alicja Pilarczyk (violin). Composition lessons, technological guidance, and mentoring will be offered by Christophe Havel (Proxima Centauri), Stylianos Dimou and Mikhail Malt (IRCAM). The academy features a four-day pedagogical program and two public concerts at Auditorium Knut Knaus.

Dokumentation
All artistic outcomes will be professionally documented — multichannel audio recording, high-resolution video, and technical/pedagogical documentation — and published in Research Catalogue.
