The awards are a powerful acknowledgment of artistic excellence, dedication, and their bold creative voices. These honors not only celebrate their achievements but also provide vital support as they take the next steps in their professional journeys.
The honors are made possible by generous and inspiring contemporary art institutions supporting emerging artists and beyond.

A national fund supporting visual artists through scholarships and projects. BKH awards scholarships to MA students in Bergen, Oslo, and Trondheim, promoting artistic growth and awareness of the Norwegian Art Tax.
• Norske Kunsthåndverkere (NK)
The Norwegian Association for Arts and Crafts champions contemporary craft. Each year, NK awards a scholarship and one-year membership to a graduating MA student who excels in craft-based practices.
• BEK – Senter for Elektronisk Kunst
A center for experimental art and technology, BEK offers residencies to students working with sound, video, or electronics, providing access to professional studios and labs.
• Nordisk Kunstnarsenter Dale (NKD)
A renowned residency center in Western Norway, NKD offers fully funded residencies to artists across disciplines. One MA student is selected annually to develop their practice in this collaborative setting.
