Johan Severin is a Danish Artist who lives and works in Bergen. Severin works with sound as a material and is interested in the untouchable and fleeting qualities of sound, as well as how to work with sound as a physical and visible material. Improvisation is an important tool especially when working with performance. In his work he explores connections and disconnections between sound, photography, printmaking, and film. Severin works with places and found material and uses storytelling and fiction to reimagine narratives.
