Bio

It first appeared as something outside of its comfort zone, a place initially defined by an imagined desire. A site of transformation, resistance, and potential destruction. Over the past two years at the academy, I have worked in this space: four walls, an open-air roof and a wooden floor. Slowly twisting away from its original form, as a reminder of its erosion. My work explores the paradox of preserving the ephemeral. I depend on the room, but the room does not depend on me.
