Interested in the artistic practice as a site for and of collectivity, care, joy and safety, Sangría Valentino has invited fellow graduates Courtney Coombs, Henna Nerg and Dominique Nachi to join them to form the queer drag band, The Vampy Villains.
In their performances the villains reappropriate monstrous discourses and representations of the queer body and revisit queer childhood through camp aesthetics existing somewhere between Disney, horror and pop culture.
Benedicte Dahm 4. mai kl. 19:00
In her project she is creating an audio walk that follows the main water pipes from Svartediket to different stops around Bergen, a sculptural installation, and animations sceneries. She seeks to make visible the invisible infrastructure we have around us, to make new ways to walk and use the city, and is interested in what happens when one combines stories, biography together with facts about the water and the local history of Bergen.
Dominique Nachi 7. mai kl. 15:00
He performs several characters, incorporating with dance, animation and the story of fictionalized reality. In his work, Dominique explores the idea of appropriating cultural forms, hybridity, and multilnaturalism.
